This is a comparative study of Magnus Hedlunds Snittet and Samuel Becketts Malone dies. My purpose has been to show the relation between the two novels, regarding prominent themes such as the main charachters? attitudes towards their egos and their identities, and also towards death, language and the theme of nothingness. The aim of this thesis is to study the Swedish art field during the 1980s, from the perspective of the artistic production of Lars Nilsson. During this decade he became one of the most well known young artists associated with postmodernism.The thesis is divided into three parts, where the first part examines different influences and aspects of the art of Lars Nilsson, as well as the contexts he was a part of. This is performed through a chronological as well as a categorizing presentation, based upon different exhibitions where Nilsson participated during the 1980s.In the second part the subject is the Swedish art field, and how Lars Nilsson came to be part of a a new established category of a young generation of artists, mostly born in the 1950s, who were associated with youth, postmodernism and contemporaneousness. This part also puts attention to the importance of Lars Nittve, then art critic and curator, in introducing postmodernism, as well as establishing this new categorization of artists in Sweden.The last part of the thesis studies four different group exhibitions, and how they all exemplify how "a younger generation of artists" were to be connected with notions of postmodernism and contemporaneousness through curatorial practice. Lars Nilsson participated at the thirst three of these exhibitions.

I denna uppsats undersökt vilka likheter och skillnader som finns i texter till barn skrivna av författarna Carl Michael Bellman och Magnus Uggla. To exemplify the last-mentioned I have studied the voices of the three singers Jenny Lind,  Christina Nilsson and Signe Hebbe (there are no recordings of any of them).The essay contains two major parts. Detta projekt genomfördes i samarbete med akustikern Erling Nilsson på företaget Ecophon i Hyllinge. Uppdragsgivare var musikproducenten Magnus Ågren som äger studion Flow Music i Malmö. Uppgiften var att förbättra akustiken i ett av Flow Musics studiorum. Rummet hade före projektet en hård och obehaglig akustik. För att komma fram till ett åtgärdsförslag specificerades först hur enskilda akustiska egenskaper skulle påverkas för att ge ett så bra resultat som möjligt.

För att få en förståelse för debatten och kritiken som Fem myror är fler än fyra elefanter fick, undersökte vi även vilka värderingar och normer som var viktiga under denna period. Syftet med detta utvecklingsarbete var att utifrån ett nyfikenhets­perspektiv skapa ett arbetsmaterial riktat till förskoleklass och skolår 1 i ämnet magnetism, samt att ta reda på vad begreppet nyfikenhet innebär.Produkten bestod av en högläsningsbok (Magnus Magnet) samt en lärarhandledning med arbetsgång och praktiska övningar. Materialet utvärderades av tre lärare och en lärarstudent. Utvärderingen var mestadels positiv och eleverna tyckte generellt att boken var rolig och underhållande. Till viss del kunde det konstateras att arbetsmaterialet väckte nyfikenhet hos eleverna om fenomenet magnetism. Slutsatsen var att en högläsningsbok samt praktiska övningar om magnetism är en bra metod för att förmedla nyfikenhet och intresse inför naturvetenskapliga fenomen till barn i de första skolåren. .

Bakgrunnen for dette prosjektet henger sammen med at min orgellærer, professor Hans-Ola Ericsson, introduserte meg for ?Magnificat?, et av orgelstykkene til den svenske komponisten Torsten Nilsson (1920-1999). Musikken til Nilsson tiltalte meg, og jeg ønsket derfor å innstudere flere av hans stykker. I denne oppgaven ser jeg nærmere på et av stykkene fra samlingen ?Septem Improvisationes pro organo?, langfredagsstykket ?Crucifigatur?, skrevet i 1968.

In this paper I make an analysis of the play Järnbörd (By burning Iron) written by the swedish author Magnus Dahlström. In this play all the characters has committed horrible crimes wich they easily describes the violence. The starting-point of my analysis is the text itself and not any stage-setting. The reason for this is that I find it interesting to see what can be found in the text only. I investigate if the language itself can tell something.Furthermore I discuss Magnus Dahlström´s literary language and if he has any distinguishing quality, and if so what it may be.

This bachelor thesis discusses three Swedish landscape architects and their plan drawings and illustrations. The landscape architects are from the 18th century, the 19th century respectively the 20th century. The three persons are: Fredrik Magnus Piper, Knut Forsberg and Gunnar Martinsson.
